Objectifs de la formation
To introduce participants to the procedures involved in conducting and evaluating a test of language proficiency according to the guidelines set out by the ICAO.
Description
- Completion of a pre-course initial rating task
- Introduction to and discussion of the ICAO scale and LPRs
- Practical training on assessing language prodiciency with reference to the ICAO speech samples training aid
- Types of tests to assess aviation language proficiency
- Overview and presentation of the MTF_ALP test
- Procedures involved in administering an MTF_ALP test session
- The role of the interlocutor in the MTF test
- The role of the rater in the MTF test
- Practical training on rating language proficiency with reference to samples produced by candidates in this test
- Statistical analysis of rater reliability
