MTA-AM05 - Sustainable Development of Air Transport Présentiel

• This training course addresses the needs of a large panel of air transport stakeholders professionals.
• Not only managers in charge of environmental matters in their job position in order to consolidate their knowledge and skills, but also any manager from an air transport company (airport, airline, manufacturer, civil aviation authority) dealing with air transport strategic and sustainable development issues.

After completing this module, you will be able to present :

• the basic principles of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility,
• the state-of-the art knowledge and the uncertainties relating to the impact of air transport on the environment, and in particular on the climate,
• the regulatory framework applicable in this specific field,
• the current commitments of air transport industry stakeholders,
• their most recent and recommended practices,
• their future perspectives in terms of technological, operational, economical or organisational levers…

... to mitigate the impact of air transport activities on the environment (locally and globally, including the contribution to the climate change) and to promote a sustainable development (including the decarbonization) of the air transport sector, in the World, in Europe and in France, with a special focus on airlines and airport operators.
