Objectifs de la formation
More specifically, by the end of the distance-learning part of the training, the participant will be able to
- Develop a Safety culture / a Risk-based approach and find solutions to address and mitigate ATM risks.
- Describe steps of a Safety Assessment based on SAM methodology (FHA/PSSA/SSA)
- Address in this frame specific issues related to human errors.
By the end of the face-to-face part of the training, the participant will be able to
- Conduct a Safety Assessment using SAM methodology and associated tools.
- Use contextual interviews and brainstorming technics in the frame of an ATM Safety Assessment.
Prérequis
Be familiar with Air Navigation context and systems
Description
Distance Learning:
- Introduction to Safety, to the ATM change process and to Safety Assessment
- Introduction to Human Factors and impact of human errors on Safety
- Safety Culture/Risk-approach and mitigation means.
- SAM (SAM: Safety Assessment Methodology) steps (FHA/PSSA/SSA) for Safety Assessment et associated tools.
Face to face:
- Implementation of an ATM Safety Assessment according to SAM methodology
- Implementation of an ATM Safety Assessment according to SAM methodology (cont.)
- Use Case of Eurocontrol Accident Incident Model in the frame of an ATM Safety Assessment for Safety Criteria, Hazards and Mitigation Means identification in the frame of an ATM Safety Assessment
- Brainstorming tutorial for hazards identification step in the frame of an ATM Safety Assessment.
Pedagogical methods:
Introduction to different aspects of Safety assessment with interactive distance-learning (woodclap, …)
Safety cases of ATM changes
Face-to-face tutorials with practical application of tools and methodologies
Material: training presentations in pdf format will be sent to participants by e-mail at the end of the training period.
